5 Inexpensive Lunch Ideas

5 Inexpensive Lunch Ideas

I don’t know about you all but sometimes figuring out what I want to eat for lunch is the hardest part of my day! I constantly think about food. I have no shame in saying, I LOVE to eat.... so these are decisions I take a lot of pride in.

Most people think “leftovers” or “sandwiches” when it comes to bringing their lunches. Here are some ideas that will shake things up a bit and won’t break the bank!!

Tuna Salad

I mixed this tuna up with olive oil mayo, boiled eggs, relish, mustard, and onion— all things you already have in your fridge.

Spinach Wraps

I added lettuce, cheese, chicken, and plenty of veggies to this wrap and added fruit as a side.

Bento Box

Bento Boxes -  Bento boxes are super easy to put together. They are comprised of whatever leftovers, extra veggies, and snacks you have on hand.

Turkey Burgers

Season them up any way you like. Add a egg and some breadcrumbs and voila. I added a veggie as a side and ate the burger without bread to make it low carb.

Salads

Like Bento Boxes, you can top these with whatever you have in the fridge. Real simple.

We spend so much money monthly on food. It’s important to budget properly for lunches because buying it daily adds up quickly. These meals can be prepared ahead of time. The prep and cook times are low and they are healthy. Your kids may even enjoy some of these lunch ideas. My son personally loves the wraps and my daughter absolutely loves the bento boxes.

Just remember to have a plan... this makes shopping and execution that much easier.

Until next time!
